Follow me through Edinburgh

Has it really been seven weeks since my last post?! I've been back from India for six weeks now and I've been dying to post something. Kelly T asked for some pictures of where I was, so here they are. I've got one more post from the Edinburgh airport coming up soon, then it's on to the amazing country that is India. Enjoy the pictures - better yet, go to Scotland yourself, it's a beautiful country!

  3. Hi michelle, Thanks! It was so beautiful there, even with the rain. I think it added to the mystique, and I got to see an amazing rainbow!

Hi jeni, thanks! I'm working on the India posts, just need to find the time to finish them. I have not see The Darjeeling Limited....yet. I just looked it up on IMDB and it's now on my to see list, thanks!

  4. Those are some great pictures. It's always amazing to think that people built those castles without machinery. They look so solid and ingrained like they grew out of the rock.

  5. Hi secondpancake, the castle truly was incredible. History says that the castle in one form or another is more then 1,000 years old with some records dating parts of the castle to 600 A.D.! Much of the old parts of the castle are off limits and the parts that are open to tourists have been updated somewhat, but the quality of construction certainly is obvious from the exterior, it DOES look like it grew from the rock.

Did you know that it is perched atop an extinct volcano?!
