Tuesday's Tasting Update - Cooking TJ's Coconut Curry Chicken Stix

I made some more of Trader Joe's Coconut Curry Chicken Stix a couple days ago and this time they came out less greasy than the first time I made them.

Here are a few cooking tips that I attribute to the less greasy chicken stix:
  • First, line the baking sheet with aluminum foil and do not spray with any cooking spray
  • Second, do not flip the stix halfway through the cooking time like you might with other small items cooked in a toaster oven
  • Third, every toaster oven is different in terms of heating elements and temperature calibration, make sure you know how yours heats up and cooks. I have a Cuisinart Classic and set it on bake at 450 degrees and cooked the stix for 11 minutes. They came out perfect!
Finally, enjoy! These Coconut Curry Chicken Stix are really good. They taste great by themselves and even better with Trader Joe's Ginger-Mango Chutney. If they don't cook up to your liking the first time you make them, make some adjustments and try again.

Happy Eating.
