One Fisherman's Platter, Please

When I'm on vacation there are only few things that really matter, and one of them is food! While vacationing on Block Island with J this summer we had some good food, some not so good food, and some outstanding food! The fisherman's platter at Finn's Seafood Restaurant falls into the good food category.

The platter came with loads of freshly fried haddock, shrimp, scallops, and whole belly clams piled on top of some pretty good french fries. The platter also came with a side of pretty average coleslaw that tasted pretty good. J and I split this platter since it was a mid day "snack" and washed it all down with a couple dark and stormys.

If you're ever on Block Island and are looking for some good fried seafood in a very casual setting, stop into Finn's Seafood Restaurant and order something up.

  1. There is something so satisfying about fried seafood. The clams and scallops are calling my name.

  2. Hi Pam, I totally agree! There are so many great places in New England for great fresh, fried seafood. This platter was so satisfying that we almost ruined our dinner!
